Function Description

Executing the day-to-day activities associated with operating in a demanding Warehouse department. Assist in the day-to-day operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products with limited on-the-job mentoring and guidance/supervision within a highly regulated quality environment, adhering to all Safety and Warehousing procedures.

Functions

• Rotational duties required within the Warehouse (receiving, picking, packing, shipping).
• Operating Forklift within the Warehouse and outside in yard.
• Check and receipt goods inwards from suppliers, offshore, intercompany transfers.
• Locate stock into designated areas.
• Pick and pack items for shipping.
• Prepare invoices for shipments to worksites.
• Assist with cycle count and stock taking when required.
• Assist Warehouse Management with inventory reconciliation and inventory issues.
• Where appropriate raise non-conformance reports to follow up discrepancies found within processes.
• Adherence to Continuous Improvement for the purpose of refining relevant processes and procedures.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuously improving your working area through 6S activity.
• Participate in weekly 6S audits when required.

Requirements

• Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
• Basic computing skills, knowledgeable in MS Office and a proficiency in Warehouse management system software (Peoplesoft ERP) to track inventory, mange orders, generate reports.
