Join our Manufacturing Sciences team in Carlsbad, CA as a Technical Writer and make a direct impact on operational excellence. In this contract position, you ll work at the heart of our manufacturing operations, driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to high-priority projects, and help shape the future of manufacturing documentation and process optimization.

[Responsibilities]

- Prepare clear, detailed investigation reports and root cause analyses following quality standards
- Analyze production records and documentation to extract actionable data and process insights
- Partner with manufacturing staff to optimize document formats and procedural instructions
- Author precise, compliant investigation documentation maintaining rigorous accuracy
- Leverage enterprise systems (ERP, EQMS, DMS) to gather and analyze information for investigations
- Consistently meet weekly targets for investigation submissions while upholding quality

[Required Skills and Experience]

- Bachelor s degree in Science or Engineering
- 2-5 years experience with manufacturing processes and documentation review
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced environments
- Detail-oriented with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

[Preferred Skills]

- Experience with Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean, or similar methodologies
- Knowledge of Antibody Purification, Conjugation, and immunoassay QC assay processes
- Familiarity with interdepartmental manufacturing workflows and project management
