Seeking a Director of Photography/Camera Operator and a Video Editor for \Bocky,\ a compact, 4-scene promotional short heavily inspired by the original Rocky .

Tone & Aesthetic: Think low-budget, raw, guerrilla-style filmmaking reminiscent of Spike Jonze’s Fatboy Slim - \Praise You\ music video, mixed with the fast-paced, irreverent humor of the classic Dollar Shave Club – Our Blades are F***ing Good launch commercial.

Distribution: High-impact social media release (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) with 180-second, 90-second, and 15-second final cuts.

1. Role Breakdowns & Expectations

Director of Photography / Camera Operator

• Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on set to capture fast-paced, run-and-gun footage across 4 short scenes.
• Execute a raw, high-energy \guerrilla\ look while maintaining visual clarity and strong framing.
• Work efficiently on location in Philadelphia across the two scheduled production dates.
• Requirements
• Hands-on experience with handheld or mobile camera setups (DSLR, Mirrorless, or Smart Phone).
• Ability to adapt quickly to non-traditional shooting environments.
• Bonus:
• Access to lightweight portable lighting or audio setups (please note gear list in application).

Video Editor

• Responsibilities:
• Assemble raw footage into a fast-timed, comedic promo cut matching the reference style.
• Deliver three distinct length variations: 180 seconds, 90 seconds, and 15 seconds .
• Format final exports optimized for standard web and social media aspect ratios (16:9 widescreen, 9:16 vertical, 1:1 square).
• Requirements:
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong sense of comedic timing, rhythmic pacing, and quick audio mixing/sound design.
