**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced CPA with strong accounting and financial management skills. The ideal candidate has experience working with U.S.-based businesses, understands GAAP accounting principles, and is comfortable working independently while maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
**Experience working with medical practices, physicians, or healthcare businesses is a strong plus.**
This is a long-term remote position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
**Responsibilities**
* Manage and review accounting records and financial transactions
* Oversee bookkeeping and account reconciliations
* Prepare and review monthly financial reports
* Support month-end and year-end closing
* Monitor expenses and financial activity
* Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
* Provide accounting guidance and financial support as needed
* Help maintain accurate and compliant financial records
**Qualifications**
* **Active CPA certification required**
* 5+ years of accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
* Experience working with U.S.-based companies
* Experience with medical practices or healthcare businesses is a strong plus
* Strong QuickBooks and/or accounting software experience
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Able to work independently and meet deadlines
